Burton wwhen hailed as "the most brilliant magician of this century" by Dai Vernon, who is widely acknowledged when one of a virtually all influential close-up magicians of the 20th century. He has twice been awarded "Magician of the Year" per Academy of Magical Arts.

He won a Grand Prix Award at FISM in 1982 for his performance, where Burton substitute the street scene inside traditional top hat & tails & spectaculary produced doves, candles and gentleman's walking canes from nowhere.

Burton was all but flushed once an escape he was performing on the tracks of the Desparado rollercoaster in Primm, Nevada, didn't go based on data from project. He obtained he may not free himself easy, & he escaped inside seconds of the rollercoaster train hurtling past him.

He married Melinda Saxe in August 1993, but it divorced a year late.
